Professional Bio

Rochelle Olsen is a pregnancy & infant loss practitioner, pharmacist, and advocate for baby loss parents and families. Her journey began with the heartbreaking loss of her first child, Edward, who lived only a few hours, illuminating the stark gaps in baby loss support care.

As she navigated her own grief and healing, Rochelle recognized the critical need for tailored support in workplaces for those affected by pregnancy and infant loss. With a deep commitment to fostering understanding and compassion in professional settings, she established herself as The Baby Loss Mentor in 2021.

Rochelle's mission is to educate, support, and guide parents through their grief journey, providing a beacon of light in their darkest moments. She is a lamplighter and mentor, walking alongside her clients as they authentically express and honour their loss.

In addition to her one-to-one mentoring, Rochelle works with businesses, both small and corporate, as well as community organisations and industry leaders, to ensure workplace policies and cultures are inclusive and supportive. Recognising the increasing importance of high-quality wellbeing services in the workplace, Rochelle emphasises the necessity of incorporating pregnancy and baby loss support into these initiatives.

Whether you're a business owner, community organisation, or industry leader, Rochelle believes that your role in the healing journey through pregnancy and infant loss demands unwavering support and understanding. She strives to create safe spaces where staff or clients impacted by such loss can find solace and support, fostering environments of empathy and inclusion.

  • Rochelle is the sounding board every woman needs. She supported me to understand where I was and where I needed to work on. Rochelle helped me to work through questions I had not ever been able to ask myself or anyone else. A saving grace and highly recommend.

  • Rochelle's sessions have a practical outcome, you go away with tools and strategies to implement changes to daily routines and clarity around your goals. Highly recommend if you are Mum dealing with the overwhelm and need some decluttering.

  • I engaged Rochelle to undertake wellness consultations and well-being plans with my team. We are really happy with the result. As a CEO trying to juggle projects, I can't do it all - and often - I am not the best person for certain jobs! I know how important it is to have smart professionals at the table to support the team, and who have knowledge in specific areas about health and wellness. It's been great to work with Rochelle, I hope more businesses invest in their teams well-being too.

  • From December last year our world turned upside down with a traumatic Molar Pregnancy and a loss at 18 weeks. Rochelle was my absolute god send and spoke to me in depth many many times and was always on the other end of the phone if I needed her. Her compassion empathy and support was absolutely outstanding. She gave me so much strength and guidance and got me through the toughest time in my life to date. She made all of my worries and head talk so at ease by shedding a different light and view on it. Her advice was worth a million dollars to me. I am eternally grateful to Rochelle and highly recommend that you reach out to her for her divine guidance.
